Other CDCAN Townhalls Will Soon Be Scheduled Focusing on IHSS, Special Education and Other Issues
SACRAMENTO, CALIF (CDCAN) [Updated 08/26/09 10:50 AM (Pacific Time) - A September 1st CDCAN Townhall Telemeeting will focus on budget issues – including major budget reductions scheduled to go into effect soon, impacting developmental services – including regional center funded community-based services for over 240,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities.
The free CDCAN Townhall Telemeeting is set for September 1, Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM and will feature Terri Delgadillo, director of the Department of Developmental Services – the agency that oversees the operations of the 21 non-profit regional centers and also the 4 state owned and operated developmental centers and 2 smaller facilities.
