REScoalition was created in 2003 as a 501.c.6 business league to create a voice for residential service providers on business issues. This includes legislation impacting our services, business practices, and creating a voice with our elected officials. Community Care Facilities are the only type of vendor in the state that must rely on the full legislature to grant us funding increases. We are also subject to more regulatory oversight than over 97% of businesses in California. REScoalition seeks to, for the first time, build bridges with the community to ensure our businesses are being protected.

Guiding Principles
Nothing about Residential Services without our input.
First seek to understand then be understood.
Look for new collaborations and partnerships.
Look at the demands of the future, NOT the success or failure of the past.
Advocacy is supply side politics.
Be seen and heard.
